Chaos Lawn Service

A front-yard sign catches my eye:

CHAO'S LAWN SERVICE

... though of course I miss the apostrophe and read the first word as the Greek-root term "CHAOS". Are there other examples of words that are pronounced so differently if one leaves out the single-quote mark? With the possessive case perhaps starting to fade away in common usage [1], will linguistic chaos reign?
